Kaidyn Eatting "People Food"

So we are really starting to push people food at all meal times for Kaidyn. She seems to enjoy people food rather than her baby food. We noticed about 2 months ago that everytime Jim and I would eat she would stare at us and fuss...wanting to eat what we were eatting. We started by just putting her in the high chair while we were eatting and gave her some puffs...but gradually started giving her little pieces of what we were having. Now she is eatting a little of whatever we have for dinner (if it is not too spicy), for breakfast she has muffin, toast, or banana  (we tried Quaker Oatmeal today and she seemed to like it)...and lunch I am still trying new things.

She loves mac n' cheese, greenbeans, cheese sandwhiches and some other stuff. I still give her baby food when I feel like she has just nibbled on people food and not really eatten a full meal. She is really good a picking things up by herself. For snacks I found Organic Puffs and Organic Yogurt Bites and she LOVES them. We also do steamed apples and squash...and then the normal crackers. Our little baby is turning into a BIG girl.

My First Blog

I am new to the "blogging" world so hang in there. I basically created this site as a way to stay in touch with my family back home. Kaidyn is growing and learning new things every day and I want everyone to watch it happen. I guess I will just post funny things she does, outings we go on as a family, and random ideas or thoughts that I might be having. I find myself having a lot of time on my hands and I love showing off my little one. Check back for updated posts.
